Children and Faith
The George Barna research group has found that most people die with the same beliefs about God that they had when they were twelve years old. That is why we strive to make each of our children's programs fun, relevant, and full of truth.

Children's Church
During our Sunday morning celebration from 10:10-11:30, we offer three different celebrations for children based on their ages. We have a class for 3-5 year olds. We have a class for children in Kindergarten through grade 2. And we have an older children's celebration for children in 3rd through 6th grades.

Missionettes

Missionettes is a ministry tool to help fulfill the Titus 2 principle of women mentoring young girls. Girls can begin in Missionettes at 3 years of age and continue through high school.
Our Missionette's ministry meets on Wednesday evenings from 7- 8 PM in the lower level of our facilities.

Royal Rangers

Our Royal Rangers ministry meets every Wednesday night from 7-8PM. We are blessed by the Newton Christian Academy for allowing us the use of their facilities for our growing ministry to boys.
Royal Rangers is a ministry that reaches across the United States and in over 65 nations around the world. It motivates boys spiritually through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models.

Boys are strengthened mentally by an advanced awards-based weekly program. Further, the boys increase their physical prowess by participation in age-specific activities and recreation.

Finally, they are introduced to church, community, and nature-related activities to develop their social skills and awareness.

Dedicated leaders, called commanders, provide boys the necessary direction during a weekly outpost meeting. The meetings are designed to develop the total boy for Christ and offer love and understanding between the boy and a Godly role model.

Junior Bible Quiz

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) was created and designed to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily. Our JBQ team practices each Sunday during our evening service (6-7:30pm).

Junior Bible Quiz offers a fun, exciting way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God's Word. Through cooperative learning, children work together on teams to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak.

Then using cooperative competition the children meet with other teams for a fun quizzing match. There are twenty questions in a match, with two teams of quizzers trying to beat each other to the buzzers to get the first shot at the answers. It has been said that JBQ is the fastest growing discipleship program in children's ministry.

Nursery

We have a very dedicated staff of nursery workers who strive to make the most of every church activity by ministering to your child as well as the parents. Our nursery is staffed for every weekly service and special event (concert, revival meetings, etc.).
We don't see ourselves as a babysitting service -- we believe God places your children in our lives to help them see Jesus, and we minister to each child as if we were ministering to Baby Jesus Himself!

If your child is over three years of age, they cannot be served in the nursery, but the nursery staff would be happy to distribute kids fun packs to help keep our younger "parishioners" occupied.
