AllAboutGOD.com is operated by All About GOD Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) religious non-profit corporation formed in February 2002. In July 2003, we responded to God's calling and moved the ministry from Mission Viejo, California to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Currently, we have a staff of 3 and over 80 volunteers. Formal governance is maintained by a seven-person Board of Directors.

Following Christ
Two great moments in our lives are when we are born and when we discover why we were born. We were created for a reason -- a divine purpose. Our lives are not accidents or fate. God has a personal plan for each of us. His purpose in our lives can only be accomplished because of Jesus Christ.
When Words Hurt
Using words as weapons is a practice that is as old as human language, but we still don't give it the attention it deserves. While we have come a long way in understanding the damage that physical and sexual abuse can do, many of us have still not realized that we can injure others with our words perhaps even more than with our fists.
The purpose of this websight is to call our attention to the power of words to help or to hurt. While we'll deal primarily with the misuse of words in the marriage relationship, the principles covered can be applied to other relationships. Our chief concern is for the countless husbands and wives who need help in understanding and reacting in a proper manner to varying degrees of verbal control and harm. Together we need to think carefully about words that violate the spirit and promise of the marriage covenant.

Entertainment is a potent influence on our culture for both good and evil. Through our reviews and discussions of that entertainment, we hope to spark intellectual thought, family discussion, spiritual growth and a strong desire to follow the command of Colossians 2:8. Benevolences Disaster Relief is in the process of sending money to the affected districts and the Convoy of Hope to help meet the immediate needs of the churches and other victims.

Assemblies of God Relief
A major reason the founders of the Assemblies of God organized in 1914 was to do together what we can't do apart. One of the purposes of our Foreign Missions outreach remains today as when the Holy Spirit raised up this Fellowship 90 years ago: to provide the long reach that spans the distance between responsive hearts and desperate deeds.
Before disaster strikes, the local church is there ready to serve. And after the headlines fade and other relief agencies head home, the local church remains, to become a spiritual family for those reached during the crisis.
Disasters can be opportunities for American Christians to hold up the hands of our fellow-believers overseas, enabling them to touch needy people. American churches provided the touch by giving. Our Assemblies of God missionary family provided the reach by connecting the givers, with the need.
When calamities strike around the world, the Assemblies of God is there with the compassion of Christ to offer help to suffering men, women and children.
